The National Qualifications Framework Level 2 Accredited Course provides a good background to the world’s wines and spirits. We have, with the approval of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, reduced the course from 3 days to 2 days. This will mean a little more home study, but all the essential ground will still be covered. It also allows us to reduce significantly the normal cost to £305 (including VAT).
Course Dates for 2010:
INT12: Mondays 12th & 26th April
INT13: Mondays 27th September & 11th October
The course runs from 9.30AM to 5.00PM, with a 50 question multiple-choice examination on the afternoon of the second Monday.
Course Costs: £305 per person (including £45.43 VAT) covers the WSET 86 page publication “Wines & Spirits, Looking Behind the Label” and a comprehensive Study Guide which forms the basic framework for the studies, 24 tasting wines, 6 ISO tasting glasses for you to keep, tuition, video clips, light lunch on both days and the examination.
